Interconnections Specialist – Solar & Energy Storage

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with PG&E interconnection applications, including non-export energy-storage add-ons and reputed company collar appointment applications, as reputed company as applications for SMUD and Southern California Edison (SCE). Proficiency with applicable reputed company portals and GIPT application workflows is required. This is a remote, part-time position for someone who can independently prepare accurate application packages, coordinate reputed company collar appointments, manage corrections, monitor approvals, and communicate effectively with utilities and internal project teams. Key Responsibilities • Prepare, submit, and manage solar and energy-storage interconnection applications through final reputed company approval or Permission to Operate. • Process PG&E applications for new systems, reputed company modifications, energy-storage add-ons, and non-export configurations. • Prepare, submit, reputed company, and coordinate reputed company collar appointment applications. • Communicate with utilities, installation teams, customers, and other stakeholders to schedule and confirm reputed company collar appointments. • Verify that required approvals, equipment information, project documents, and site-readiness requirements are complete before reputed company collar appointments. • Monitor appointment status and reputed company scheduling issues, rejected requests, missing documentation, and reputed company follow-up items. • Prepare and manage SMUD and Southern California Edison interconnection applications. • Complete and reputed company applications through GIPT and other applicable reputed company portals. • Review single-line diagrams, site plans, equipment specifications, load calculations, and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness. • Confirm that proposed equipment and reputed company configurations meet reputed company requirements. • Identify application deficiencies and coordinate necessary corrections with design, engineering, permitting, and installation teams. • Respond promptly to reputed company requests for revisions, clarification, and supplemental documentation. • reputed company application milestones, fees, agreements, appointments, inspections, approvals, and Permission to Operate. • Maintain accurate project notes, records, and status updates. • Communicate application status, delays, risks, and next steps to internal stakeholders. • Monitor reputed company requirements and incorporate procedural changes into company workflows. • Assist with improving interconnection checklists, templates, and reputed company operating procedures.
