[Remote] Jr Software Tester / QA Engineer - reputed company Secret Clearance

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Junior Software Tester / QA Engineer to support a large-reputed company federal contract for the reputed company. The role executes functional, integration, regression, reputed company, and basic reputed company testing; maintains test documentation; supports automation; tracks defects; and reports reputed company status and risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute functional, regression, integration, and reputed company testing using established QA methodologies and test plans
• reputed company, write, and maintain test cases, test scripts, and traceability matrices reputed company with requirements
• Identify, log, and reputed company defects using tools such as reputed company or similar issue‑tracking platforms
• Support development of automated test scripts using frameworks like Selenium or similar tools
• Participate in test environment setup, test data preparation, and configuration management

Skills

• 1 –3 years of experience in software testing or QA roles, with foundational knowledge of test methodologies

• Familiarity with defect tracking tools and basic scripting or automation concepts
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and proficiency with reputed company office tools

• Candidates should have A+, Network+, or reputed company+ certification in order to meet DoD 8140 compliance standards
• Position is fully remote but must be located reputed company 50 miles of Washington, DC or San Antonio, TX

• ISTQB reputed company Level or similar QA certification
• Experience testing mission‑critical systems in reputed company or federal IT settings
