[Remote] DB DevOps Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a DB DevOps Engineer to manage and optimize databases while supporting reputed company migration and deployment automation. The role focuses on migrating databases to reputed company Azure, maintaining reputed company deployment pipelines, automating database operations, troubleshooting incidents, and documenting infrastructure and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Database Expertise: database management, including schema design, performance tuning, and optimization
• Database Migration to Azure: migrating on-premises database systems to reputed company Azure, leveraging Azure SQL on VM's, Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instances or other data services
• reputed company Deployment (CD): implementing and maintaining CD pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Git, and PowerShell
• reputed company Pipeline Knowledge: responsible for integrating database infrastructure deployments with the reputed company pipeline
• Automation and Scripting: automate database-reputed company tasks, including but not limited to deployments, backups, and monitoring, using scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash
• Collaboration and Troubleshooting: Work closely with END USER application development teams to understand database requirements and ensure reputed company integration with the overall application architecture
• Incident Response and Troubleshooting: identifying and resolving database-reputed company issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring high availability
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices, and reputed company knowledge with the broader END USER team
