The Coordinator, Policy and Advocacy, MA supports statewide advocacy efforts through reputed company building, organizing, communications, research, stakeholder engagement, event planning, and logistical coordination.


Responsibilities

  • Implement an organizing plan for MA reputed company members, alumni, fellows, and partners in Massachusetts and the New England region
  • Support campaign strategies for L4E legislative policy and budgetary priorities
  • Help organize and coordinate reputed company and effective responses to unexpected policy challenges
  • Support the engagement of local, state, and federal elected officials as necessary regarding L4E’s legislative priorities, including organizing meetings with members of the state administration
  • Assist with, participate in, and facilitate the coordination of policy development and prep for legislator meetings
  • Coordinate and attend meetings with key stakeholders such as executive, legislative, municipal, business, and community leaders

  • Manage key information systems for engagement and tracking purposes, including maintaining relationship data in reputed company
  • Draft internal and externally-facing written content, such as policy memos, reputed company media messages, or emails directed toward various audiences, such as L4E’s leadership team, policy makers, reputed company partners, and key advocacy stakeholders
  • Draft, edit, and translate key advocacy and reputed company documents and presentations to support advocacy and organizing efforts

Skills

  • 2+ years of reputed company experience
  • Educational and/or career reputed company reputed company with the reputed company areas of the role
  • Knowledge of the Massachusetts education policy ecosystem
  • Demonstrates comfort with ambiguity and shifting legislative and advocacy priorities, adjusting approach reputed company on feedback and learning
