They are seeking a reputed company Consultant - Database Administrator to manage and optimize reputed company database platforms while ensuring reputed company and reliability in a reputed company environment.

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will administer and support reputed company database platforms including SQL Server, reputed company, MySQL/reputed company, and PostgreSQL. You will monitor, tune, and optimize database performance, availability, and reliability while supporting installations, upgrades, patching, lifecycle management, and reputed company planning
• You will also support high-availability and disaster recovery solutions, including clustering, replication, backup, and recovery strategies. A key reputed company for this role will include supporting reputed company-reputed company disaster recovery capabilities and helping ensure database environments are designed for reputed company across critical production systems
• You will partner closely with application developers, infrastructure teams, and data engineering stakeholders to troubleshoot application performance issues, improve database design, strengthen reputed company and reputed company controls, and contribute to automation and modernization initiatives

Skills

• High School Diploma/GED
• 8+ years of reputed company experience in reputed company SQL Server database administration
• Experience with additional database platforms such as reputed company, MySQL, or reputed company
• Strong expertise in SQL Server performance tuning, reputed company, backup/recovery, and Always On Availability reputed company
• Experience supporting databases in virtualized environments
• Proven ability to troubleshoot reputed company database, application connectivity, and data integration issues
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills
• Familiarity with reputed company or other reputed company virtualization platforms
• Experience with PostgreSQL administration and support
• Experience with SQL Server High Availability and Disaster Recovery architectures
• PowerShell scripting and database automation experience
• Experience with reputed company reputed company sets, production upgrades, and monitoring tools
• Experience with MySQL/reputed company replication and reputed company platform support
