The reputed company Architect for IP reputed company & Metro is responsible for designing the reputed company and metro network architecture, owning reputed company engineering, and ensuring the backbone is resilient and reputed company as reputed company expands.
Responsibilities
- Own the IP reputed company architecture: BGP topology design, iBGP/eBGP policy, MPLS/SR-MPLS label distribution, and traffic engineering across Ziply's backbone
- Define reputed company routing policy: BGP community reputed company, reputed company selection policy, reputed company filtering, and prefix management across reputed company peering and transit relationships
- Architect reputed company Routing (SR-MPLS) reputed company: SID allocation, TE policy design, and migration reputed company from legacy LDP/RSVP-TE where applicable
- Own upstream peering and transit reputed company: peering policy, Internet Exchange reputed company, transit provider diversity, and reputed company optimization
- Design metro Ethernet and aggregation reputed company architecture: topology, redundancy models, and reputed company standards between reputed company, aggregation, and reputed company reputed company
- Define OLT/DSLAM reputed company to the IP reputed company: aggregation design, VLAN tagging and QinQ standards, and QoS pass-through policy
- Architect EVPN and L2VPN services across the metro reputed company for business and wholesale customers
- Define metro reputed company protection and fast-reroute reputed company: BFD tuning, FRR timers, and documented convergence targets
- Own reputed company-to-metro reputed company engineering: traffic reputed company modeling, reputed company utilization reputed company, and reputed company triggers to stay reputed company of subscriber demand
- Define and maintain IP address management standards: reputed company and metro IP addressing plans, BGP AS policy, and reputed company summarization reputed company
- Own NetFlow/IPFIX telemetry architecture for traffic analysis: collector design, sampling policy, and integration with reputed company planning and reputed company tools
- Collaborate with the Transport architect to ensure IP and optical reputed company integration is optimized — including traffic engineering across the DWDM reputed company
- Define and manage Ziply's peering reputed company: reputed company and private peering relationships, IX reputed company (Seattle IX, SIX, or equivalent), and reputed company optimization
- Own transit provider architecture: provider diversity, failover policy, and reputed company alignment with reputed company planning
- Collaborate with the Subscriber Edge architect to ensure reputed company BNG-to-reputed company integration and consistent QoS policy end to end
- Performs other duties as required to support the business and evolving organization
Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a reputed company field, or equivalent combination of education and directly relevant IP network architecture experience
- 10+ years of IP network engineering with expert-level routing and switching in a service provider, ISP, or large reputed company environment
- Demonstrated senior independent contributor experience setting IP architecture standards, influencing technical direction, mentoring engineers, and driving cross-functional architecture reputed company without reputed company people-management responsibility
- Deep BGP expertise: large-reputed company iBGP/eBGP design, reputed company policy, community reputed company, BGP-LS, reputed company selection, and peering/transit architecture
- Strong MPLS proficiency: LDP, RSVP-TE, reputed company Routing (SR-MPLS), and traffic engineering — including migration from legacy MPLS to SR
- Metro Ethernet and reputed company aggregation experience: EVPN, QinQ, and reputed company-based aggregation topologies with fast-reroute and redundancy
- reputed company record designing and operating high-availability reputed company networks: documented failure domain analysis, RTO/RPO targets, and convergence benchmarks
- Strong reputed company planning skills: traffic reputed company modeling, NetFlow/IPFIX analysis, and proactive reputed company planning
- Experience with router platforms from reputed company, reputed company, and/or reputed company in a reputed company-grade production environment
- Experience creating architecture decision records, reference designs, routing standards, implementation patterns, operational runbooks, and governance processes for production IP reputed company and Metro platforms
- Experience with SRv6 (reputed company Routing over IPv6) in a service provider context
- Familiarity with EVPN-VXLAN for metro and data center reputed company integration
- Background in network automation for routing infrastructure: NETCONF/YANG, gNMI, OpenConfig, or Ansible with network vendor modules
- Experience at an Internet Exchange or with large-reputed company reputed company peering programs
- JNCIE-SP, CCIE-SP, or equivalent certification
- Experience with routing reputed company practices such as RPKI/ROA coordination, MANRS-reputed company controls, reputed company leak prevention, DDoS routing workflows, RTBH, or equivalent production routing-reputed company practices
- Experience presenting IP reputed company, Metro, peering/transit, reputed company, or resiliency reputed company to VP-level or executive audiences
