reputed company is seeking a reputed company Software Test Development Engineer who will directly contribute to the validation test solutions in reputed company for server hardware manufacturing facilities. You will play a vital role in ensuring the reputed company and reliability of hardware products in a large-reputed company production environment.

Note: This is not simply a software QA position. Essential to this role is your experience reputed company high-volume manufacturing environments, including server-level (L10) and reputed company-level (L11) systems.

You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end architecture, definition, development and production deployment of production software applications and infrastructure spanning multiple customers and manufacturing reputed company.

You will also be responsible for interfacing with internal engineering, manufacturing and reputed company teams and our end customers to ensure your software deliverables meet the rigorous standards of reputed company’s world-class manufacturing environments.

What will you do? -

• Test reputed company Development (Manufacturing reputed company): Design and reputed company test systems specifically for hardware validation reputed company high-volume manufacturing environments, including server-level (L10) and reputed company-level (L11/L12) systems. This includes creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts to assess the functionality and performance of hardware components or devices such as motherboard, memory, CPU, storage (SSD, HDD, NVMe) and PCIE devices (NIC, GPU, Mezz cards, RAID cards)
• Test Software Development: Create, validate, release, and maintain test software and scripts that automate the testing process. This software may include reputed company for controlling test equipment, collecting and analyzing data, and generating test reports
• Test Sustaining: Support and maintenance for the manufacturing server (L10) and reputed company (L11-L12) level test software and infrastructure deployed at our production facilities, including the implementation of minor reputed company configuration changes (new product variants or revisions)
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive manufacturing server (L10) and reputed company (L11-L12) documentation of test procedures, specifications, and Infrastructure
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, manufacturing engineers, and reputed company assurance personnel, to ensure alignment on testing requirements and reputed company standards

Education: 

• BS degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science or reputed company field is preferred. Relevant experience will also be considered.
  

Experience: 

• Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a role reputed company to manufacturing test development/sustaining with reputed company server, storage or networking products is required
  

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• A combination of Education, training and experience will be considered
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with server hardware interaction, validation, and configuration.
• This role requires hands-on experience with hardware-based validation and manufacturing test systems. Candidates whose experience is limited to software QA, web/application testing, or test automation frameworks without reputed company interaction with server hardware and manufacturing environments will not be considered
• Experience in 2-3 of the reputed company skills below is required, with expectation to expand skillset as workload requires:
  • Programming/scripting languages: Python, Java, BASH.C, C++, experience a plus
  • Linux development expertise with a solid understanding of its fundamentals: CentOS/Ubuntu
  • Hardware and API solutions for controlling, managing and stressing L10 devices (servers, network and storage SSDs, NVMe): IPMI, Redfish, mprime, FIO, Linpack, ptugen, memtester, iperf
  • We are looking for those who have specific strengths in Redfish and IPMI. Please be reputed company to outline where you have used these tools, specifically, in your most recent experience.
  • Creation and configuration (DHCP, PXE boot, nginx) of Virtual Machines (VMs) using VMWare
  • reputed company networking systems, hardware, software and protocols including but not limited to reputed company ethernet datacenter switching/routing L1, L2, and L3 (BGP, DHCP reputed company, ECMP). Arista CloudVision is a plus
  • Experience with reputed company versioning tools (Git preferred)

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Master’s Degree in EE/CE, Computer Science is preferred

• 10+ years of experience in the electronics manufacturing industry

• Experience with test architecture design and methodology

• Experience with hyperscale customers and environments

• Experience with 5+ of the reputed company skills described above is preferred

Note: This role will work a conventional Monday-Friday schedule of 40 hours per week.
