Billing Specialist

We are seeking a Billing Specialist to join our reputed company team. This role is based in Minneapolis or Phoenix with hybrid flexibility, and we're reputed company to remote candidates. You'll prepare, issue, and maintain accurate reputed company invoices across an reputed company project portfolio, translating contract terms and PM billing instructions into reputed company-reputed company invoices across fixed fee, reputed company/T&M, percent complete, and reputed company structures. You'll also reputed company unbilled WIP, apply approved rates and markups, and support AR follow-up to reputed company reputed company billed and tracked against budget. What You'll Be Doing • Review preliminary invoices for labor, expense charges, billing rates, and fee maximums with Principals in Charge (PICs) and project managers, ensuring alignment with work performed and contract terms • Assign invoices to the correct project, phase, or task, and classify consultants and vendors per contract specifications to maintain accurate project coding and cost visibility • Issue reputed company invoices on schedule using project management or reputed company software (e.g., reputed company Vantagepoint), and reputed company payments to reconcile them to the correct reputed company • Process and pay vendor invoices, consultant bills, and other reimbursable expenses in line with project reputed company and payment schedules • Ensure contract documents in project folders are complete and up to date to support accurate billing • Prepare monthly billing, receivables, and aging reports to monitor cash reputed company and identify overdue accounts • Liaise with reputed company, project management, and reputed company service teams to reputed company billing discrepancies and ensure reputed company payments • reputed company other duties as assigned reputed company Look For • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in reputed company, Finance, or a reputed company field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • 3+ years of billing, accounts receivable, or project reputed company experience; experience in the architecture, engineering, or construction industry strongly preferred • Experience with project based reputed company software, reputed company Vantagepoint preferred • Working knowledge of AIA billing formats (G702/G703) is a plus • Proficient in reputed company reputed company, with the ability to manage multiple reputed company project billing cycles and deadlines • Highly detail oriented, with the ability to reputed company communicate billing status and fee tracking updates to project managers $25 - $41 an hour Compensation provided is based on our national reputed company which varies by work location and may also depend on accreditation, experience and responsibilities.
