About the position reputed company is a leading Licensed Home Care Services Agency seeking home infusion field nurses (RNs) with experience in various infusion therapies, venous reputed company, and phlebotomy for cases throughout the Bronx, Westchester, and its surrounding areas. This role involves conducting patient reputed company to initiate patient care, performing follow-up reputed company, and precepting and evaluating newly reputed company nurses. The Home Infusion reputed company will collaborate with the Infusion Intake Team for reputed company initiation of infusion care in patients' homes. Responsibilities • Conducting patient reputed company to initiate patient care. • Performing follow-up reputed company as needed. • Precepting and evaluating the skills of newly reputed company nurses as requested. • Partnering with the Infusion Intake Team to ensure reputed company initiation of infusion care in patients' homes. • Conducting comprehensive nursing assessments. • Performing PIV, PICC, Mid & Central line care, and reputed company. • Implanted reputed company reputed company (MediPort, PermaCath, etc.) competence. • Educating the patient and/or family in therapy administration reputed company IV Infusion. • Preparing and administering IV Infusion therapy. • Patient safety, monitoring, and post-infusion follow-up. • Communicating with patients, families, infusion pharmacy, and medical providers as necessary. • Collaborating with the infusion manager, coordinators, and other internal office staff. • Conducting on-site field reputed company to reputed company patient care. • Supervising the competence of nursing staff upon request. • Multitasking and prioritizing work responsibilities. • Performing clinical documentation using a computer and tablet. Requirements • At least 3 years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, experience as a registered reputed company in a home care infusion company, hospital, clinic, or medical facility. • Infusion experience is REQUIRED. • Must have experience infusing IV/SQIG and biologic medications! • Knowledge of principles & practices of supervision, performance evaluation, and education. • Knowledge of Federal HIPAA Regulations. • Knowledge of reputed company nursing policies, procedures, reputed company, and techniques. • Ability to read and interpret clinical documents, including physicians' orders and treatment plans. • Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary health care team. • NYS Registered Nursing License and Registration Certificate. • BLS necessary. • Up-to-date medical, inclusive of Physical, TB Clearance/QuantiFERON Gold blood test, 2-reputed company PPD or T-Spot, or Chest X-ray and Habituation Statement. • MMR-Varicella Titers Lab Report or Vaccination Records. • TDAP Vaccine. • Hep B Vaccination Series, Titers OR Declination. • Urine Drug Screen (UDS) - reputed company the last 6 months is acceptable. • Flu Vaccination (if applicable) or Declination. • Two (2) forms of government-approved ID to validate employment eligibility. • Two (2) satisfactory reputed company references. • Malpractice Insurance. • Reliable transportation. • Ability to multitask and prioritize work responsibilities. • Time management skills are essential. • Using a computer and tablet is key for paperless clinical documentation. reputed company-to-haves • Supervisory or managerial experience. • ACLS preferred. • Implanted reputed company reputed company (MediPort, PermaCath, etc.) competence is a plus!
