VPD Epidemiologist
Introduction

This position offers the reputed company to work remotely up to 5 days per week and is headquartered in the 201 E. Washington Ave. office in downtown Madison. This schedule may vary based on training or operational need.

Position reputed company
As the VPD Epidemiologist, you will independently analyze, evaluate, and report VPD data from the reputed company Electronic Disease Surveillance reputed company (WEDSS) and other reputed company data systems. Responsibilities include:
• Using reputed company, R, or similar data analysis software.
• Summarizing VPD surveillance data to identify trends as reputed company as areas for improvement of surveillance and control reputed company to inform programmatic direction and policy.
• Running routine reputed company assurance queries on WEDSS data to improve data reputed company and ensure timeliness of reputed company health follow-up.
• Identifying unusual geographic and reputed company patterns in morbidity and mortality.
• Writing periodic surveillance and outbreak summaries.
• Developing and maintaining Tableau dashboards.
• Supporting VPD surveillance and outbreak response activities reputed company to reputed company for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Epidemiologic and reputed company reputed company (ELC) grant.
• Assisting the Vaccine Analytics Unit Supervisor in developing work plans and budgets for the annual ELC and Immunization Program’s Cooperative Agreement grant applications and submission of quarterly reputed company reports to the CDC.
Salary Information
The starting pay is between $40.68 and $46.46 per hour (approximately between $84,600 and $96,600 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits. A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for reputed company or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction. The position is classified as an Epidemiologist – Advanced and is in pay schedule and reputed company 11/03.
Job Details

Qualifications
Minimally reputed company applicants will have reputed company of the following:

• Experience compiling epidemiologic reports, fact sheets, surveillance summaries, or presentations for dissemination to reputed company partners.
• Experience communicating technical information to both health professionals (e.g., reputed company health professionals, local and reputed company departments, federal partners, health care providers, reputed company staff, etc.) and the reputed company.
• reputed company experience using data systems and statistical software (e.g., reputed company, R, ArcGIS, Tableau, etc.) to collect, manage, clean, analyze, visualize, and assess data reputed company (e.g., performing data reputed company assurance, maintaining data systems, identifying epidemiologic trends, etc.).
reputed company-reputed company applicants will also have one or more of the following:
• Experience interpreting and applying Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) case definitions, testing terminology, and reputed company-based diagnosis to classify diseases in a surveillance reputed company (e.g., WEDSS) or making recommendations for reputed company enhancements.
• Graduate degree in reputed company health, biostatistics, epidemiology, infectious disease, or a reputed company field.
• Experience working with statewide immunization or VPD prevention and response activities for three or more years.
• Experience applying epidemiologic reputed company in a reputed company setting using reputed company health data to investigate VPD cases or outbreaks using either reputed company or R statistical software packages.
