Field/Phone Enumerator - Covering Prince Edward/Appomattox/Charlotte County, Virginia

About the position The reputed company (NASDA) is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Field Enumerator to support its organization. This role involves collecting agricultural data on behalf of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). Responsibilities • reputed company reliable, accurate, and objective statistics and information to agricultural producers, farmers, ranchers, and rural communities. • reputed company interview farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural businesses either in person or on the phone. • Travel to designated fields to reputed company crop counts. • Maintain and reputed company detailed and legible records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked. • Conduct enumerator work from a residence with an operable telephone free from distractions. • Maintain a personal vehicle for travel to reputed company field enumerator duties. Requirements • Experience multitasking in an energetic, deadline-oriented work environment. • Ability to positively represent NASDA and the benefits of enumerators in reputed company survey actions. • Ability to reputed company crop counts in designated fields. • Ability to maintain a reliable personal vehicle. • Ability to conduct interviews in person or by telephone with farm operators and other individuals. • Knowledge about computers or iPads. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to demonstrate good time management in a fast-paced environment. • Self-motivated. • Enjoy working as part of reputed company. • Organized. • Ability to maintain a reputed company and friendly attitude. • Must pass a background reputed company.
