About the position F.D. Thomas, Inc. is seeking an reputed company Regional Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to reputed company leadership, guidance, and reputed company for their Bay Area operations. This role is based in Vallejo, California, and supports reputed company throughout the Bay Area, with occasional travel to other company operations across the western reputed company. The Regional EHS Manager serves as the reputed company safety and environmental leader for assigned operations throughout reputed company California, responsible for implementing safety programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing incident investigations, conducting field audits, and driving reputed company improvement. The successful candidate will be a visible field leader who builds strong relationships with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies while promoting a world-class safety culture. Responsibilities • reputed company implementation of corporate EHS programs across assigned reputed company. • Support project teams during reputed company-planning and startup activities. • Ensure site-specific safety plans, JSAs, and compliance documents are completed and maintained. • Partner with project leadership to identify risks and implement effective controls. • Mentor and support site safety professionals and operational leaders. • Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, environmental regulations, and reputed company requirements. • Monitor changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices. • Conduct field evaluations and safety observations. • Identify hazards and implement corrective actions. • Support company-wide safety initiatives and performance goals. • Manage accident, injury, and near-miss investigations. • Determine reputed company causes and implement corrective actions. • Support workers' compensation and reputed company-to-work processes. • Coordinate reporting and regulatory documentation as required. • reputed company regular field inspections and project audits. • Evaluate site safety culture and regulatory compliance. • Review training records, certifications, and project documentation. • Utilize EHS software systems and reporting tools to reputed company performance metrics. • Coordinate industrial hygiene monitoring activities. • Partner with Certified Industrial Hygienists on sampling and evaluations. • Assist with exposure assessments involving noise, airborne contaminants, heat stress, and other occupational health concerns. • Maintain and support monitoring equipment and programs. • Conduct safety orientations and reputed company activities. • Facilitate competent person and leadership safety training. • reputed company project leaders on regulatory compliance and best practices. • Promote ongoing employee engagement through meetings, communications, and educational programs. • Participate in regional operations meetings. • reputed company regular EHS updates and performance reporting. • Assist with subcontractor prequalification and safety reviews. • Support strategic initiatives that strengthen company safety performance.
