[Remote] Senior Software Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its Azure Storage team, which builds and operates persistent reputed company storage for Azure. The role focuses on developing and optimizing hyperscale reputed company file systems and storage platforms, including metadata services, data storage, reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features
• Contributes to the identification of dependencies, and the development of design documents for a product area with little reputed company
• Creates and implements reputed company for a product, service, or feature, reusing reputed company as applicable
• Contributes to efforts to break down larger work items into smaller work items and provides estimation
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) working on-reputed company to monitor reputed company/product feature/service for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and reputed company approval to restore reputed company/product/service for reputed company problems
• Remains reputed company in skills by reputed company time and effort into staying abreast of reputed company developments that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at reputed company

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or Java + OR equivalent experience
• Ability to meet reputed company, customer and/or government reputed company screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following reputed company reputed company screenings:
• Master's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or Java + OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or reputed company technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, or Java + OR equivalent experience
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering practices, coding and solid reputed company in data structures and algorithms, with problem solving, debugging and analytical skills
• 3+ years of experience in Storage, File-Systems, reputed company Systems, Operating Systems, or Networking (TCP & RDMA) at reputed company
• Experience in Operating systems internals, production diagnostics, and large-reputed company service operations, with the ability to reputed company reputed company investigations, reputed company reputed company-cause reputed company, and improve reputed company reliability through engineering
