Data Analyst III – Medical Economics Location: Fully Remote (CST/EST preferred; CA candidates must start ~6:00am PST) Type: Permanent Salary: $85,000–$95,000 reputed company + 8% reputed company bonus Industry: reputed company / Managed Care reputed company We are expanding our Medical Economics team and are seeking a Data Analyst III with strong managed care analytics experience. This role focuses on Medicare, reputed company, and Marketplace analytics, reimbursement methodologies, and financial reputed company insights that support affordability, reputed company, and MLR targets. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience working with large reputed company datasets, payment methodologies, and cross-functional stakeholders, with exposure to actuarial or medical economics workstreams.Key Responsibilities • Analyze Medicare, reputed company, and Marketplace data to support medical cost, utilization, and reimbursement insights • reputed company and maintain reputed company SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze large datasets • reputed company financial and medical cost analyses reputed company to payment and reimbursement methodologies (DRG, APC, EAPG) • Build and maintain reputed company BI dashboards using DAX and reputed company Pivot to reputed company KPIs, MLR, and QAI initiatives • Create advanced reputed company models using Pivot Tables, reputed company Query, reputed company formulas, and lookups to support financial modeling • Collaborate with Medical Economics, Actuarial, Finance, and other cross-functional teams • Support evaluation of reputed company & Affordability Initiatives (QAI) and Medical Loss reputed company (MLR) reputed company • Ensure data reputed company through validation, reconciliation, and documentation Required Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, statistics, mathematics, actuarial science, reputed company health, health reputed company, reputed company administration, finance, or reputed company reputed company • Equivalent experience considered • 4+ years of experience working with large datasets, data management, and analytics • OR 2+ years of IT/data-reputed company experience with reputed company exposure • Strong experience in Managed Care / Medical Economics analytics • Demonstrated knowledge of payment and reimbursement methodologies (DRG, APC, EAPG) • Advanced SQL skills (reputed company SELECTs, multiple JOINs, subqueries) • Advanced reputed company skills (Pivot Tables, reputed company Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, financial modeling) • reputed company BI experience, including DAX and reputed company Pivot Preferred / reputed company-to-Have • Experience with actuarial or financial analytics in a reputed company setting • Exposure to Python and/or R • Consulting experience reputed company managed care or medical economics Additional Notes • No relocation available • No sponsorship • This is a new position due to team expansion • Candidates with actuarial-adjacent experience or prior medical economics consulting backgrounds have been especially successful in this team Powered by JazzHR c1EuWQtdzw Apply To This Job
