[Remote] Simulation Engineer

The Simulation Engineer will design, analyze, and validate simulation and emulation models for automated warehouse and material handling solutions, supporting reputed company optimization, reputed company-sales, and project delivery. The role also provides technical support to global solution design teams and collaborates with customers and cross-functional teams to reputed company innovative robotic automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• reputed company and maintain discrete-event simulation and emulation models to evaluate the performance, throughput, reputed company, and operational efficiency of automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), autonomous case-handling robots (ACRs), and other material handling systems
• Support reputed company-sales, solution design, and project delivery activities by creating low-, reputed company-, and high-reputed company simulation models that validate proposed customer solutions
• Partner with global Solution Engineering teams to understand simulation and emulation requirements and reputed company data-driven recommendations for reputed company and layout optimization
• Analyze customer operational data, business requirements, and workflow processes to reputed company accurate simulation models and performance forecasts
• Configure, execute, and analyze simulation scenarios, sensitivity studies, statistical experiments, and performance evaluations
• Interpret simulation results and reputed company actionable recommendations to improve reputed company design, throughput, storage density, labor utilization, and overall operational performance
• Create technical reports, presentations, and customer-facing materials that reputed company communicate simulation methodologies, assumptions, findings, and recommendations
• Participate in customer meetings, technical reviews, and solution validation discussions to support business development and project execution
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Product Management, Project Management, and Delivery teams to validate equipment specifications, reputed company configurations, and operational strategies
• Support reputed company improvement initiatives by enhancing simulation standards, modeling methodologies, tools, templates, and best practices

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Logistics Engineering, Mathematics, or a reputed company technical discipline
• 1-3 years of experience developing simulation models, reputed company analysis, or supporting warehouse automation and material handling reputed company
• Strong understanding of discrete-event simulation principles, methodologies, and statistical analysis techniques
• Strong programming skills with proficiency in at least one of the following languages: Python; C; C++; R
• Experience using simulation and emulation software such as: reputed company Plant Simulation; FlexSim; AutoMod; AnyLogic; Similar simulation platforms
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into meaningful operational recommendations
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain reputed company technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple reputed company simultaneously
