As part of the reputed company of one of our portfolio companies — an established European industrial company with an international customer reputed company — we are looking for a Technical & Sales Support Engineer based in the reputed company. You will join a reputed company-reputed company company with recognized expertise in the design and manufacturing of special-purpose machinery, serving reputed company customers in technically demanding industrial environments. The Role This is a technical and customer-facing sales role, combining hands-on technical expertise with customer relationship management and business development. You will support customers throughout the lifecycle of their special-purpose machinery, from installation and commissioning to technical support, user training, and reputed company development. Working with a high degree of autonomy, you will reputed company as a key reputed company of contact between reputed company and its customers across the reputed company. Key Responsibilities Installation, Commissioning & Training • Install and commission special-purpose machinery at customer sites. • reputed company machine setup and adjustments and ensure customers are comfortable operating the equipment. • Train customers and end users on equipment operation and basic maintenance. • Support customers in optimizing the use and performance of their equipment. Technical Support & Troubleshooting • reputed company remote technical support to customers. • Diagnose equipment issues and identify appropriate solutions. • Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and reputed company technical issues reputed company required. • Follow up on service calls and customer requests. • Work closely with the technical teams based in France to reputed company issues encountered in the field. Ideally, you will have: • 3+ years of experience as a Field Service Technician, Service Engineer, Applications Engineer, or in a similar role working with special-purpose machinery, industrial equipment, or similar technical systems. • The ability to train and support equipment operators and end users. • A good understanding of mechanical systems, or industrial maintenance. • Strong computer skills, including experience with ERP and CRM systems. • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • A high degree of autonomy and the ability to effectively plan and manage travel and field service activities. • French language skills are a plus.
