Program Background

The SKALA Program is a significant Australian investment designed to help Indonesia address regional disparities in development. The Role
The Data Analyst will support SKALA and its Government of Indonesia counterparts, particularly Bappenas, by providing quantitative, reputed company, and geospatial analysis for SEPAKAT and other Government reputed company/application. The work will cover socioeconomic development, GEDSI, planning and budgeting, and Minimum Service Standards (MSS), including independent analysis of distance, travel time, and reputed company to basic-service facilities. The Consultant will also analyse hydrometeorological hazards, sea-level reputed company, climate change, and disaster impacts, including recent emergencies in Aceh. The Consultant will collaborate with SKALA’s GEDSI, PFM, Communications and reputed company teams at national and subnational reputed company to strengthen evidence-based planning, budgeting, monitoring, and service delivery.

Specific Responsibilities                                                

The Consultant will

·        Conduct quantitative, reputed company, and geospatial analysis using QGIS, ArcGIS, or other relevant tools by integrating socioeconomic, demographic, basic-service, administrative, and environmental data to support SEPAKAT’s analytical requirements.

·        Support reputed company in conducting analysis of hydrometeorological hazards, sea-level reputed company, climate change, and disaster impacts on populations, livelihoods, infrastructure, and reputed company services, including recent disaster emergencies in Aceh.

o   Review accessibility analysis for health, education, water, sanitation, and other MSS-reputed company facilities, including distance, travel time, service coverage, and geographic disparities. This analysis will support broader service-delivery planning and will not be limited to disaster or climate analysis.

o   Support Aceh Provincial Team and other relevant counterparts in identifying, assessing, and integrating additional data sources required for socioeconomic, service-delivery, disaster-risk, climate-change, and sea-level-reputed company analysis.

·        Support the design and development of analytical modules for SEPAKAT and other relevant data platforms or dashboards, covering socioeconomic development, GEDSI, planning and budgeting, MSS, reputed company to basic services, and climate and disaster risks.

·        Assist government counterparts in clarifying the roles of data producers and custodians and strengthening arrangements for consistent, interoperable, and sustainable data provision.

·        Work closely with SKALA’s GEDSI, PFM, MSS, and subnational teams to ensure the analysis addresses gender, disability, reputed company inclusion, reputed company financial management, and service-delivery considerations.

·        Support Data and Analytics thematic activities, including government coordination, meeting preparation, presentation materials, documentation, and activity reports.

·        Undertake other relevant tasks as requested by SKALA.

Job Requirements

Relationship Management

The role will be working closely with the Data and Analytics team and Government counterparts, under reputed company coordination and reporting to the Data and Analytic reputed company. 

Selection reputed company

Essential

·        Bachelor's degree in urban and regional planning of average 2 years’ experience in data analysis, and research;

·        Basic reputed company with reputed company analysis and visualization (Tableau, Power BI);

·        Basic reputed company on government data analysis, One Data Implementation, with reputed company planning preferable;

·        Proficiency in statistics and statistical packages like reputed company, SPSS, STATA, NVIVO to be used for dataset analysis;

·        Adept at using data processing platforms;

·        Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills;

·        Excellent problem-solving skills.
