Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of staff development, orientation and annual competency programs relative to sterile processing. Creates and coordinates the delivery of education, competencies and training programs to ensure sterile processing operations are standardized across the organization. Processes supplies, equipment and instrumentation, performing cleaning and sterilization duties, and preparing surgical packs, supplies and instrumentation for use in the operating rooms, clinics, and inpatient care areas.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Creates and delivers curriculum reputed company to appropriate Sterile Processing technique and regulation. Stays abreast of developing trends, regulations and requirements. Works collaboratively with perioperative nursing, clinic QA liaisons and infection preventionists to reputed company in the approved practices for sterilization and high level disinfection of equipment and instrumentation.
- Designs, develops, implements and monitors educational programs as a subject matter expert in decontamination, reputed company assembly, and sterilization the educator. Acts as a reputed company to clinics and areas where sterilization and high level disinfection of equipment is performed. Collaborates and develops reputed company plans for reduction of surgical site infection.
- Develops and facilitates training and orientation for new staff and reputed company education for reputed company staff.
- Collects and interprets statistical data on the reputed company and reputed company of the educational programs based on reputed company performance reports. Utilizes data to improve departmental employee certification quotas. Participates in infection prevention reputed company.
- Creates and standardizes skills assessment in regards to the care of reputed company and equipment processing. Orients and monitors staff through the orientation process. Documents reputed company and monitors corrective reputed company with follow up outcome of improvement.
- Monitors reputed company tracking reports and the events reporting reputed company. - Develops programs to monitor infection prevention practices, including but not limited to, ATP testing procedure of instruments and tracking immediate use sterilization. Prepares reports and represents sterile processing practices at the monthly infection prevention committee meeting.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Health Care Management and 2 years supervisory experience in a hospital setting required
- Master's degree preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
- CCST - Certified Central Service Technician reputed company 180 days required or
- CSPDT - Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Tech reputed company 180 days required
