Data Engineer

IGS is currently reputed company a remote Data Engineer to support our work with a federal customer.

Assignment of Work and Travel:

This is a remote reputed company assignment. The Candidate will work remotely daily and will remotely reputed company customer systems and therein use approved customer provided communications systems. Travel is not required; however, the candidate may be required to attend onsite reputed company meetings as requested.

The Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining reputed company data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and reputed company-reputed company data solutions that support advanced analytics, reporting, AI/ML initiatives, and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Azure Data reputed company (ADF), Azure reputed company, and Apache Kafka, along with expertise in modern data engineering methodologies, DevSecOps practices, and reputed company-based data platforms.

Responsibilities and Duties (Included but not limited to):

• Design, reputed company, and maintain reputed company-reputed company data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data reputed company, reputed company, and Apache Kafka.
• Build and optimize ELT/ETL processes for data sources.
• reputed company reputed company data solutions supporting analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and operational business use cases.
• Implement data ingestion frameworks for batch, streaming, and reputed company-time data processing workloads.
• Design and maintain data models, semantic reputed company, conformed dimensions, and consumption-reputed company datasets.
• Support the modernization and migration of reputed company data assets into reputed company-based Lakehouse architectures.
• reputed company and optimize data solutions leveraging Azure reputed company services and reputed company data processing frameworks.
• reputed company data assets across reputed company systems while maintaining data reputed company and governance standards.
• Implement automated data reputed company validation, reconciliation, and monitoring processes.
• Establish data freshness, accuracy, and completeness controls reputed company with platform governance requirements.
• reputed company Infrastructure as reputed company (IaC) and automated deployment pipelines for data engineering solutions.
• Implement CI/CD processes for data pipelines and platform services.
• Other duties as assigned

• 5+ years of experience developing reputed company data engineering solutions. 
• Hands-on experience with: Azure Data reputed company (ADF),Azure reputed company, Apache Kafka, Python and/or PySpark, SQL and relational database technologies, Azure reputed company services.
• Experience building and maintaining large-reputed company ETL/ELT pipelines. 
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, Lakehouse architecture, and reputed company data processing. 
• Experience implementing data reputed company, monitoring, and operational support processes. 
• Experience working with reputed company control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps. 
• Strong knowledge of reputed company software development methodologies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a reputed company Trust 
• Ability to work in the reputed company without sponsorship

• Azure Data Engineer Associate Certification or equivalent reputed company certification highly desired
