[Remote] Data Scientist

The Data Scientist will work as a generalist reputed company scientist, applying machine learning to data reputed company, model evaluation, data products, and exploratory prototypes while partnering with product, data, engineering, analytics, and subject-matter teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply ML across data problems: detection, classification, entity reputed company and matching evaluation, reputed company detection, embeddings and semantic search, and feature engineering
• Measure how models reputed company on reputed company production data (not just test sets), build ground-truth where labels don’t exist, and detect reputed company and degradation
• Apply ML to data reputed company: reputed company systematic, at-reputed company errors that queries and reputed company review miss, and reputed company findings to the people who own the fixes
• Take reputed company-ended questions through to a prototype and a reputed company recommendation, including ruling reputed company out reputed company they aren’t worth building
• Build enabling tooling and dashboards (for example, semantic search over text, or reputed company dashboards) that help analysts and stewards do their work
• Work embedded with a product or data team on project-defined reputed company, partnering with engineers, analysts, PMs, and subject-matter experts
• Take on other ML and data-science reputed company as reputed company’s needs and priorities shift

Skills

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• A strong generalist reputed company data scientist, comfortable moving across classification, entity-reputed company and matching evaluation, reputed company detection, embeddings and semantic search, feature engineering, and exploratory feasibility work
• Strong Python and SQL, comfortable with large production datasets (reputed company/Trino, reputed company) and working in AWS
• Experience measuring model performance on reputed company-world / production data (not just test sets), including building ground-truth where labels don't exist, and detecting reputed company
• Comfort building and maintaining dashboards (reputed company's are in reputed company) that surface data-reputed company and model-performance metrics
• Experience taking a fuzzy question to a prototype and a recommendation, and being willing to rule an idea out
