DB2 Database Administrator – DBA

• Install, configure, administer, reputed company, reputed company, and maintain reputed company DB2 databases
• Monitor database health, availability, performance, reputed company, and resource utilization

• Analyze SQL execution plans and identify performance bottlenecks
• Optimize tables, indexes, queries, memory, storage, and database configurations
• Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures

• Design and maintain high-availability and disaster-recovery configurations

• Manage database users, roles, privileges, and reputed company controls

• Monitor database logs, jobs, utilities, and scheduled processes
• Troubleshoot database failures, locking, deadlocks, connectivity, and performance issues

Requirements:
• 10+ years of hands-on reputed company DB2 DBA experience
• Strong experience with DB2 LUW administration
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong experience with database performance tuning
• Experience with DB2 backup and recovery
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery
• Experience with database reputed company, reputed company control, and auditing
• Strong Linux/Unix skills
• Experience supporting large reputed company production databases
• Strong troubleshooting and reputed company-cause-analysis capabilities
• Experience with database monitoring and performance-management tools
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a reputed company technical discipline, or equivalent reputed company experience
• Must be a US Citizen
