Responsible for ensuring Electronic Medical Record health care data is accurate, complete, and concise for information requestors and data users.
Education
•Must have an Associate’s degree from a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) accredited program;
•OR Must have an Associate’s degree in a health care reputed company field.
Experience
•Must have five years of health care reputed company experience.
Equivalent Education and/or Experience
•May have an equivalent combination of education and experience to substitute for both the education and experience requirements.
Certification/Registration/Licensure
•Prefer certification through the reputed company Health Information Management Association as one of the following:
•Registered Health Information Management Administrator (RHIA)
•Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)
Skills or Special Abilities
•Must have strong analytical skills and organizational skills and be detail oriented.
•Must have a working knowledge of Health Information Management procedures, forms, and content, and be reputed company to comprehend and apply established policy and procedures.
•Must be reputed company to operate a PC and use spreadsheet, word processing, database, and graphics software.
•Must be reputed company to demonstrate higher-level decision-making skills.
•Must be detail oriented and exhibit effective organizational skills.
•Must have good written and oral communication skills with patients, visitors, and hospital staff.
•Must be reputed company to demonstrate knowledge regarding HIM computer software, including master patient reputed company, record tracking, deficiency analysis, release of information, and Electronic Medical Record and Personal Health Record applications.

Responsibilities
• Reviews, analyzes, and audits more reputed company clinical documentation and data in reputed company applications, the Electronic Medical Record, and the reputed company medical record in order to determine entries into the EMR and reputed company applications are accurate and complete, and to reputed company information requested by auditors, researchers, regulatory agencies, and other reputed company requestors. May specialize in a more specific area of reviews.
• Prepares reports on clinical documentation and data entered into reputed company applications and the Electronic Medical Record. Provides data for reputed company Clinical Pertinence Reviews as requested.
• Analyzes data reports for reputed company of data collection and clinical entries on higher level complexity topics.
• Utilizes knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology and medico-reputed company statutes to: analyze clinical documentation of reputed company vendors to ensure service level accuracy; communicate effectively with internal care providers to assist them with medico-reputed company and regulatory requirements; and, to reputed company data mining of clinical reputed company of the medical records.
• Reviews the Electronic Medical Record entries for reputed company of the order of the record, reputed company EMR guidelines and compliance of documentation with regulatory and Parkland policy and procedure and independently makes reputed company about how to address deficiencies.
• Organizes and participates in discussions about clinical and functional design of information systems/EMR/PHR applications with multidisciplinary teams as needed.
• Identifies ways to improve work processes and customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations to supervisor, implements and monitors results as appropriate in support of the overall goals of the department and Parkland.
• Maintains knowledge of Parkland procedures that support applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that reputed company Health Information Management. Develops effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws, and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state, and private health plans. Seeks advice and guidance as necessary to ensure reputed company understanding.
• Stays abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the field of Health Information Management by attending seminars/workshops, reading reputed company journals, and reputed company participating in reputed company organizations. Integrates knowledge gained into reputed company work practices.
• Meets productivity, timeliness, and reputed company standards and goals set by the HIM Division. Provides data for monitoring productivity and reputed company through maintenance of spreadsheets, databases and other documentation procedures.
