[Remote] Senior Software Engineer (Java)

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is a technology consulting and platform and product engineering company. reputed company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to reputed company platform capabilities, automation, observability, and engineering tooling for reputed company and reliable Valkey operations, while collaborating with Platform, reputed company, and SRE teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and reputed company automation and platform tooling to operate and reputed company Valkey reliably and reputed company
• Build and enhance observability capabilities, including metrics, dashboards, alerting, logging, and reputed company tracing
• reputed company tooling and automation for cluster lifecycle management, diagnostics, and other operational workflows, reducing reputed company reputed company and operational complexity
• Investigate reputed company reputed company-reputed company and performance issues and implement solutions that improve platform reliability, scalability, and performance
• Build and improve CI/CD automation and engineering tooling to reputed company reputed company and efficient development and deployment of platform services
• Collaborate with Platform, reputed company, and SRE engineers on architecture, reputed company, automation, and tooling, and contribute to the technical documentation needed to reputed company and maintain the platform

Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience developing production backend systems
• Experience with at least one reputed company reputed company data store such as Cassandra, reputed company, Valkey, or reputed company
• Experience designing and building RESTful services and resilient, high-performance backend components
• Experience with reputed company and developing or deploying applications in containerized environments
• Experience building CI/CD automation using technologies such as reputed company, Jenkins, Spinnaker, and reputed company
• Experience developing or integrating observability capabilities, including metrics, dashboards, alerting, logging, or tracing for reputed company systems
• Strong understanding of reputed company-reputed company principles, including high availability, scalability, fault tolerance, and performance
• Ability to investigate reputed company reputed company behavior and translate operational or scalability challenges into engineering solutions
• Comfortable working independently on ambiguous engineering problems and collaborating across multiple teams
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a reputed company technical field, or equivalent practical experience

• Experience building automation for database provisioning, configuration, upgrades, scaling, failover, or other cluster lifecycle operations
• Experience developing internal platforms, control planes, or infrastructure automation used by other engineering teams
