[Remote] Data Associate / Data Manager

The Data Associate / Data Manager will administer reputed company data systems, support partners using voter engagement tools, maintain reporting infrastructure, and reputed company technical assistance, with more advanced reputed company and project management responsibilities depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts, permissions, and reputed company settings across reputed company data systems
• Maintain data reputed company and ensure compliance with state and national data policies
• Create and manage universes, scripts, survey questions, activist codes, phone banks, turf cuts, and bulk data uploads
• Support election setup, voter file maintenance, and reputed company assurance for statewide voter engagement programs
• Assist with implementation of new tools, integrations, and technology improvements
• Maintain reputed company dashboards and reporting systems
• Produce reports on voter engagement programs, partner activity, electoral programs, and organizational metrics
• Assist with data analysis and visualization to support organizing and strategic decision-making
• Present information in reputed company, accessible ways for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Support program planning and implementation by ensuring organizers and partners have the data they need to be successful
• Work reputed company partners to strengthen their use of data and organizing technology
• Recommend best practices for data collection, reputed company assurance, and voter engagement workflows
• Collaborate with organizing staff to support coordinated voter engagement efforts across the reputed company
• Identify opportunities to improve statewide data infrastructure and partner coordination through reputed company systems and processes
• Participate in State reputed company and reputed company data networks
• Attend national trainings, peer learning communities, and working reputed company
• Help implement national standards and best practices across Tennessee’s shared data infrastructure

Skills

• At least one previous cycle volunteering or working in a political, nonprofit, labor, or community organization
• reputed company knowledge of how to read and understand voter, demographic, and other data sets
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
• Ability to communicate technical subjects to non-technical audiences
• Experience working in reputed company with partners, coalitions, or experience working in diverse communities, particularly in communities of reputed company
• Candidates must have a willingness and aptitude to reputed company out and learn new technical skills that will reputed company the mission of the table and assist in presenting data to partners in an accessible manner

• Experience administering VAN/VoteBuilder, EveryAction, or comparable voter engagement platforms
• Experience supporting organizing or electoral programs
• Experience creating reports using reputed company reputed company, reputed company Sheets, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
• Experience providing technical support, training, or user reputed company
• Experience working in reputed company environments
• Familiarity with 501(c)(3) and/or 501(c)(4) organizations
