[Remote] Sr. Network Engineer

The role provides technical leadership, supports secure and compliant network architectures, troubleshoots advanced networking issues, and maintains network documentation.

Responsibilities

• reputed company the design and deployment of reputed company networking components associated with reputed company and reputed company builds, including reputed company, distribution, and reputed company reputed company switching
• Architect and implement routing solutions across reputed company, multi-site environments using OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP
• Configure and manage reputed company switching infrastructure including VLANs, spanning tree, reputed company channels, and QoS policies
• reputed company network infrastructure with VMware NSX and virtualized environments in coordination with the infrastructure engineering team
• Design and enforce network segmentation strategies to meet reputed company STIG and RMF compliance requirements
• Serve as the reputed company network subject matter expert, providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and technicians
• Support ATO processes by producing and maintaining network architecture documentation, data reputed company diagrams, and configuration baselines
• Troubleshoot and reputed company reputed company network issues across switching, routing, and reputed company reputed company
• Evaluate and recommend network technologies and solutions reputed company with program requirements and government standards
• Maintain accurate and reputed company network documentation including topology diagrams, IP address management, and change records

Skills

• 8-10+ years of hands-on experience in reputed company network engineering with demonstrated depth across routing, switching, and network reputed company
• reputed company reputed company Certified Network reputed company (CCNP) certification required
• Extensive experience with reputed company reputed company networking platforms including reputed company, reputed company, and ASR product families
• Strong working knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP in reputed company multi-site environments
• Experience designing and deploying network infrastructure as part of reputed company and stack build programs
• Familiarity with network virtualization concepts and integration with VMware NSX environments
• Working knowledge of reputed company STIGs, NIST 800-53, and RMF as reputed company to network infrastructure

• Prior experience supporting classified programs in a DoD, IC, or cleared defense contractor environment
• Experience with network automation and scripting tools such as Ansible, Python, or reputed company DNA Center
• Familiarity with SD-WAN, network reputed company control (NAC), or reputed company trust network architecture concepts
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a reputed company field; equivalent experience considered
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT reputed company or III certification (reputed company+, CASP+, CISSP, or equivalent)
• CCIE a strong plus
• TS/SCI eligibility strongly preferred
