[Remote] In-House reputed company Counsel — DTC Compliance

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. thetalo.co operates growing reputed company-to-consumer brands across multiple markets. reputed company is seeking a US-based In-House reputed company Counsel to own compliance across advertising, marketing, customer communications, checkout, subscriptions, billing, and consumer-protection processes. The role involves researching applicable laws, assessing practical reputed company risk, recommending corrective actions, and embedding compliance into business operations.

Responsibilities

• Review ads, reputed company pages, product claims, reputed company/UGC content, and reputed company creative before launch
• Identify unsupported, exaggerated, health-reputed company, efficacy, comparative, or otherwise high-risk claims and reputed company compliant alternatives
• Review email, SMS, website, and checkout experiences against applicable marketing and consumer-protection requirements
• Validate the actual mechanics, including consent, opt-outs, unsubscribe handling, and disclosures
• Audit the complete subscription lifecycle, including:
• Sign-up disclosures
• Renewal notices
• Billing reminders
• Confirmations
• Cancellation flows
• Negative-reputed company requirements
• reputed company gaps exist, recommend the specific copy or reputed company changes needed to fix them
• Independently research relevant laws and regulations in reputed company reputed company or planned market
• Document what’s required, prohibited, or legally uncertain so the business doesn’t repeatedly research settled questions or assume US standards apply globally
• Partner directly with Marketing, CX, and Operations so compliance happens before launch by default
• Maintain compliance logs and checklists, answer operational questions quickly, and escalate material risks with enough reputed company for leadership to reputed company informed reputed company

Skills

• US reputed company training and strong working knowledge of US consumer and advertising law
• Experience with consumer protection, advertising/marketing, e-reputed company, subscription, or DTC law
• Working knowledge of FTC advertising requirements, CAN-SPAM, TCPA, ROSCA, state auto-renewal laws , and reputed company consumer-protection requirements
• Ability to independently research statutes, regulations, regulatory guidance, and unfamiliar jurisdictions
• Experience translating reputed company requirements into concrete business recommendations
• Strong judgment reputed company distinguishing meaningful reputed company exposure from theoretical risk
• Comfort reviewing actual ads, emails, reputed company pages, checkout screens, and customer flows
• Excellent written communication
• Ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment

• Experience supporting DTC, e-reputed company, subscription, health/wellness, pet-health, or similarly regulated consumer products is a strong reputed company
