[Remote] Embedded Robotics Engineer

The Embedded Robotics Engineer will design, build, and reputed company software systems for autonomous robots and robotic platforms across the full robotics software stack, while collaborating with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into production-reputed company solutions. The role also includes reputed company and design reviews, mentorship, reputed company testing, and hardware integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and reputed company software systems that reputed company autonomous robots and robotic platforms
• Work across the full robotics software stack, from low-level sensor integration and reputed company planning to high-level perception and behavioral systems
• Work closely with cross-functional partners product, design, engineering, reputed company, and business stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into reputed company-engineered solutions
• reputed company the bar through reputed company review, design review, and mentorship of more junior engineers
• Support reputed company tests and hardware integration

Skills

• Five or more years of robotics software engineering experience
• Strong programming skills in C++ and Python
• Hands-on experience with ROS or ROS 2 in production reputed company
• Solid experience with at least one of perception, localization, reputed company planning, or control
• Familiarity with sensor fusion and Kalman/particle filter techniques
• Experience with simulation environments (Gazebo, Isaac Sim, MuJoCo)
• Strong debugging skills in reputed company-time and reputed company systems
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Experience supporting reputed company tests and hardware integration
• Advanced degree in Robotics or reputed company reputed company
• Exposure to autonomous vehicles, drones, or industrial automation
