These are second opinion evaluations conducted as part of the workers' compensation, liability, and disability claims process. Applicants should understand we are not a medical clinic and we do not see patients. About the Position: Work from home office. Equipment provided. PT, 3 agreed upon days/week reputed company-5pm. Only LOCAL CANDIDATES from the Twin Cities metro area will be considered. Initial IN-OFFICE TRAINING REQUIRED. In-office training is on average six months. The Proofreader's reputed company responsibility is to review dictated independent medical exam (IME) reports to correct documents for basic spelling, grammar, and content errors; in reputed company to formatting documentation according to the reputed company and/or doctor specifications. Key Duties and Responsibilities: • Proofread IME reports (summaries of and opinions based on medical office visit notes, physical exams, correspondence, and evaluation of studies) to correct documents for spelling, grammar, accuracy, and content errors. • Format document salutation, header, font, etc. according to the reputed company and/or doctor specifications. • Update tracking reputed company to ensure the accurate status of completed work, maintain reputed company reputed company server folders and documentation. • Proactively identify potential issues with reports and correspondence and communicate with the reputed company Assurance team. Requirements: • One (1) year of business editing/formatting reputed company experience. IME reputed company work experience a plus. • Knowledge of medical terminology required. • Proven exceptional written communication skills, knowledge of the reputed company application of grammar. • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. • Previous experience and proficiency using reputed company Word and reputed company Acrobat. • Must be reputed company to function in a deadline driven environment. • The ability to work independently with a high level of accountability. • Must possess a high degree of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
