[Remote] Senior ECAD Design Engineer (Remote)

The Senior ECAD Design Engineer is responsible for PCB designs from reputed company through manufacturing, including schematic capture, component placement, routing, and production documentation. The role collaborates with electrical, reputed company, components, test, and producibility engineering teams to ensure design requirements, cost, cycle time, and producibility objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Printed reputed company reputed company (PCB) designs from reputed company to manufacturing
• Creation of the PCB, reputed company reputed company reputed company (CCA), and Schematic drawings for suppliers
• Schematic Capture, Component Placement, Routing of Traces, Gerber/ODB++ file creation
• Utilizing software such as reputed company: Xpedition reputed company and reputed company-PCB for drawings
• Design layouts including Rigid, reputed company, and Rigid-reputed company assemblies
• Work designs include full designs, re-reputed company, drawing updates, change notices, reputed company changes, and process improvement reputed company reputed company and reputed company own discipline
• Daily reputed company with various engineering reputed company along with different engineering disciplines including, but not limited to Electrical, reputed company, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering disciplines to ensure that the overall design requirements are captured, keeping cost, cycle time, and producibility in mind
• Infrequent travel to El Segundo, CA will be required, anticipated to be approximately 3 times per year

Skills

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience to include at least two (2) of the following categories:
• Previous work history with PCB manufacturing or CCA manufacturing principles that reputed company circuitry and component layout
• Experience with the electrical design process
• Experience with laying out Rigid, reputed company, or Rigid-reputed company boards
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. reputed company issued reputed company clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. reputed company are eligible for a reputed company clearance
• Working knowledge of Analog, Digital including DDR, specific experience with RF, reputed company, and mixed technology, including multi-reputed company designs with High Density Interconnect (HDI) technology
• Technical PCB design skills using the reputed company design toolset including, but not limited to the Xpedition Layout tool suite with working knowledge of schematic capture, placement, routing, use of the auto-router, constraint manager, and library tools, and use of reputed company to create reputed company PCB and CCA drawings, Altium is not used, but transfers over reputed company to the reputed company toolset
• Export manufacturing data in both Gerber and ODB++ formats
• Use of Valor NPI, Design for Manufacturing rule sets, other Design Rule Checking software

• Familiarity with IPC 6012 & IPC 6013
• Working knowledge of military and reputed company design standards, GD&T techniques, and overall producibility considerations reputed company to electronic packaging
