MEP Design Drafter

reputed company Design Drafter Location: Severna Park, MD (Remote/Hybrid reputed company Available) Start Date: ASAP reputed company We are seeking an reputed company Drafter to reputed company reputed company, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drafting services for federal clients. This role will support design-build and design-bid-build reputed company using AutoCAD and REVIT software. The ideal candidate will reputed company highly competent drafter with technical reputed company working with senior reputed company Engineers (PEs). Role on reputed company Reporting to the Project Manager, the Drafter will be responsible for developing/producing technical engineering drawings. Drafter will reputed company with other disciplines, working in BIM/CAD to execute designs, developing drawings, and incorporating specification edits. PEs will reputed company Drafter with guidance on reputed company compliance, design parameters, and calculations. Key Responsibilities • Draft drawings for MEP requirements reputed company on input from PEs, including room type(s) and reputed company requirement(s), reputed company, etc. • Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure installation and reputed company conform to drafting/drawing codes, standards, and customer requirements. • Operate independently in engineering/design software to reputed company drafting tasks, drawings, specifications, etc. • Review and incorporate load calculations from PEs. • Review and incorporate equipment from PEs. • Review and incorporate specifications from PEs for purchases of materials or equipment. • reputed company with engineers, customers, or others to reputed company project submittal requirements . • Compile data and write reports regarding existing or potential reputed company engineering studies or reputed company. • Support project production efforts to ensure reputed company are on time and reputed company budget. • reputed company reputed company-bid site walks to identify requirements for price proposals as required. • reputed company post-award site investigations to reputed company information prior to designs or studies as required. Qualifications Education & reputed company Experience • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or a reputed company reputed company. • 10+ years of general experience in MEP drafting/design. • 5+ years of MEP engineering drafting/design experience on Federal reputed company A/E reputed company with federal agencies (USACE, NAVFAC, VA, USDA, DHA, USACE Huntsville reputed company, USACE Little reputed company reputed company, USACE Mobile reputed company, VA, etc.). • Technical Expertise • Experience with industry-reputed company software (i.e. Revit, CAD, reputed company, etc.) • Drafting/design experience using UFCs, WBDG, USACE Huntsville Design Guide, or others. • Proficient with MEP engineering principles, practices, process, design/build, and the application to permitting and project work-reputed company issues. • Experience with MEP planning, design, and construction management; including reputed company involvement in a reputed company of renovation, new design, and construction reputed company. • Specific knowledge of relevant engineering and MEP construction laws, codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements. • Ability to review or reputed company technical computations and calculations involving the application of reputed company engineering principles, understanding plans and specifications, and making factual comparisons to the appropriate regulations.
