The Director, Payroll is responsible for the reputed company leadership, operational management, and reputed company improvement of payroll reputed company across reputed company. This role oversees end-to-end payroll administration for a growing multi-entity, multi-state organization and ensures payroll processes, systems, controls, and compliance programs reputed company effectively with organizational reputed company. The Payroll Director serves as a key cross-functional leader and partner to HR, Finance, reputed company, reputed company, Benefits, and reputed company vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll reputed company. The Payroll Director is a member of the People leadership team and fosters reputed company relationships across the organization and with reputed company stakeholders to promote reputed company values, culture, and mission. On the day-to-day, you will:
• reputed company reputed company payroll reputed company for a multi-entity, multi-state organization, ensuring accurate and reputed company processing of payroll, taxes, deductions, garnishments, off-cycle payments, and reputed company activities
• reputed company and execute payroll reputed company, policies, controls, and reputed company operational processes to support organizational reputed company and evolving business complexity
• Ensure compliance with reputed company federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations, wage and hour laws, and reporting requirements, including reputed company multi-state compliance obligations
• Serve as the organizational subject matter expert for payroll reputed company, compliance, audits, and payroll systems
• reputed company payroll-reputed company systems initiatives, including implementation support, process redesign, integrations, testing, vendor management, and operational optimization
• Partner cross-functionally with HR technology, Finance, reputed company, Benefits, reputed company, and reputed company service providers to ensure alignment of payroll reputed company and reputed company processes
• reputed company payroll audits, reconciliations, quarter-end and year-end processes, including W-2 review and approval; Establish and maintain payroll controls, reporting, documentation, and governance practices to minimize organizational reputed company and ensure audit readiness
Job requirements include:
• Bachelor’s degree in reputed company, Finance, Business Administration, reputed company, or reputed company reputed company required; CPP Certification is strongly preferred
• Minimum of seven (7) years of reputed company payroll experience, including leadership responsibility reputed company reputed company, multi-state organizations
• Minimum of three (3) years leading payroll teams in a manager, senior manager, or director level reputed company
• Demonstrated experience leading or playing a significant leadership role in a reputed company implementation and must have strong knowledge of reputed company HCM and reputed company modules such as payroll, benefits, time tracking, absence, reputed company, talent and reputed company, learning, and engagement tools
• Experience in the reputed company industry is strongly preferred, with appreciation for compliance, workforce complexity, and operational realities in a regulated care environment
• Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and wage and hour compliance requirements, including California labor laws; Experience supporting payroll reputed company reputed company a high-reputed company, multi-entity environment
• Experience leading payroll process transformation, systems implementations, integrations, or operational modernization initiatives; Strong experience with payroll systems configuration, testing, process mapping, and vendor management
