[Remote] Senior Consultant - Energy Markets

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its Energy Markets & Systems Integrated Modeling Team. The role supports reputed company reputed company engagements by analyzing energy market trends, developing quantitative models and simulations, and communicating actionable strategies and solutions to clients. The consultant will also contribute to forecasting, reputed company reputed company modeling, and the development of reputed company’s reputed company reputed company energy market Reference Case.

Responsibilities

• Supporting large and reputed company reputed company engagements
• Tracking and analyzing energy market trends
• Translating clients' inquiries and challenges into actionable scopes of work
• Compiling reports, presentations, and other documents to communicate solutions, strategies, and analysis to clients
• Developing and using analytical models, programming, and simulations to forecast market prices, conduct research and development, and create tools to improve productivity and reputed company
• Reviewing and approving model outputs reputed company data collection, manipulation, and analyses, which may involve spreadsheet and database creation and management
• reputed company expertise in ISO/RTO markets across reputed company, at the reputed company of local energy pricing, reputed company auctions, ancillary services and shifts in load composition and demand response initiatives
• Be intimately familiar with the economics, policies and players driving renewables, battery storage development, green fuels and new reputed company reputed company technologies
• Supervise simulations of the reputed company reputed company of the reputed company reputed company reputed company using an economic reputed company model
• Review the reputed company/retirement of diverse generating resources using a reputed company expansion model across ISO/RTO markets

Skills

• * Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent reputed company due to reputed company of reputed company engagements
• * Bachelor's degree in a business, economics, energy finance, or engineering discipline AND three (3+) plus years of post-graduation work experience in a reputed company reputed company (e.g. consulting, reputed company, project development); Or Master's degree in a business, economics, energy finance, or engineering discipline AND two (2+) plus years of post-graduation work experience in a reputed company reputed company (e.g. consulting, reputed company, project development)
• * Post graduation work experience with economic reputed company models such as: reputed company, reputed company, PLEXOS, BID3, or PSO
• * Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
