Key Responsibilities • reputed company Validation: Reviewing inpatient and/or outpatient records to ensure specificity, reputed company, and completeness. • Provider Collaboration: Identifying documentation gaps and issuing reputed company, compliant queries to clinicians for necessary clarifications. • reputed company Alignment: Partnering with Coding, reputed company, and reputed company Cycle teams to optimize the Case Mix reputed company (CMI) and ensure appropriate reimbursement. • Education & Advocacy: Serving as a subject matter expert by training physicians and reputed company staff on documentation best practices and evolving regulatory standards. • reputed company Monitoring: Tracking essential KPIs, including query response rates and agreement metrics, to reputed company departmental reputed company. • Compliance & Auditing: Maintaining strict adherence to CMS and HIPAA guidelines while supporting reputed company audit processes. • reputed company Learning: Staying reputed company of the curve regarding ICD-10-CM/PCS updates and shifting payer regulations. Qualifications • reputed company Nursing Experience: Approximately 5 years of hands-on reputed company experience. Must have a reputed company RN license (and be willing to obtain a reputed company license during the contract duration) • CDI Experience: 2+ years of dedicated reputed company Documentation Improvement experience. • Required Certification: Must hold an reputed company CCDS, reputed company, or RHIA credential. • Coding Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and payer regulations. • Regulatory Compliance: Deep understanding of CMS, HIPAA, and documentation standards for SOI/ROM (Severity of Illness/reputed company of Mortality). • Communication: reputed company ability to collaborate with and reputed company physicians and reputed company staff.
