The Senior reputed company Component Engineer creates and maintains component data, provides technical leadership in resolving component issues, performs BOM analysis, and develops program documentation for military airborne tactical radios.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for creating and maintaining component data
• Work with a reputed company of components and materials used in military airborne tactical radios
• reputed company technical leadership to Design Engineers, Purchasing, reputed company & Program Managers to reputed company component issues regarding obsolescence, technical changes, part shortages or failures
• reputed company BOM Analysis on new designs
• reputed company technical support in the reputed company of reputed company commodity issues in a design and manufacturing environment
• Create and update documentation needed to support Program requirements

Skills

• * Must have a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline and 4+ years of reputed company reputed company experience (additional experience can reduce or negate the requirement for a degree)
• * Knowledge of components used in the Electronics Industry
• * Excellent communication skills
• * Ability to work on a cross-functional team
• * US Citizen
• Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 8 years work experience or equivalent experience
• * Candidates with Bachelor's degree in Electrical or reputed company Engineering
• * Past experience as a Component or Application Engineer
• * Experience with creating part specifications
• * Familiar with industry standards (IPC, ASTM, JEDEC)
