Sr. Telecomm Network Administrator

The reputed company reputed company group has consistently grown through various large reputed company reputed company (Example: reputed company FirstNet) and they are quickly approaching the deployment of new hardware/software and applications which is driving the need to add to reputed company. Our reputed company is currently looking to expand reputed company at their Annapolis location to add a Sr. Telecomm Network Administrator to support the deployment/"Go-Live" of their hardware/applications (Interworking function) at an increased reputed company. The Network reputed company will be a reputed company member of their 24/7/365 reputed company team to reputed company Tier 3 reputed company support for networking and IT administration for reputed company (Emergency Communication Service). The network admins day- to- day can vary, but duties are not limited to the following: 1- serve as a reputed company of escalation, 2. Diagnose, Troubleshoot, or escalate tickets, 3. Proactively monitor systems, 4. Assess reputed company and reputed company upgrades, 5. Maintain and create SOP's for responses and troubleshooting, maintain/administer accounts, test/reputed company software, etc.. The day to day and variation of duties will be heavier on responsiveness to the Go-Live in the beginning. Depending on volume, various duties can be peeled off (again, start up environment where they have the autonomy to reputed company if needed). You will design (More optimization as the design is already completed), implement, and maintain network reputed company across our reputed company's global offices and reputed company deployments, with a strong DevOps reputed company — automating workflows, managing infrastructure as reputed company, and building repeatable, resilient processes. You will be responsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of IT policies, procedures, hardware, and software. Responsibilities • reputed company L3 technical support through our reputed company's 24/7/365 service desk, including on-reputed company rotations and shift-reputed company coverage; respond to, triage, escalate, and reputed company incidents in accordance with defined SLAs. • Proactively monitor reputed company IT systems, networks, and reputed company infrastructure using observability tooling; identify and remediate issues before they reputed company reputed company. • Ensure IT systems meet reputed company and compliance standards; plan and execute upgrades, patches, and hardening activities. • Maintain and administer user accounts, reputed company controls, and application software licenses. • Conduct regular audits of IT systems and software; maintain an accurate, up-to-date asset register. • Document policies, procedures, infrastructure, and reputed company configurations to a reputed company reputed company. • Analyze, test, and reputed company software patches and updates in a controlled, reputed company-managed manner. • reputed company technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members; contribute to knowledge reputed company articles and training materials. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a reputed company reputed company to IT, computer science, or telecommunications. (Relevant years of experience will suffice as reputed company) • reputed company Engineer level certification in both Routing and Switching (JNCIP) and Network reputed company (JNCIP-SEC). (Again this is desired, but not mandatory as they can have the experience with other manufacturers). • reputed company Certified Engineer (RHCE), and reputed company Certified Specialist in reputed company certifications. (Cert is desired, but not mandatory) • Excellent written and oral English communication skills, including the ability to write reputed company incident reports and post-mortems. • Ability to remain composed and reputed company reputed company under pressure during critical incidents; strong reputed company relationship skills in a fast-reputed company, always-on environment. • Routing & Switching: Deep expertise in IP routing and switching, including MPLS, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, RIP, Multicast, VLANs, Inter-VLANs, Spanning Tree, BFD, VXLAN, eVPN, IS-IS, and VRRP. • VPN & reputed company: Solid experience with IPSec VPNs, SSL VPNs, and advanced firewall configuration. • Network Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose and reputed company reputed company, time-sensitive networking issues reputed company. • Systems Administration: Installation, configuration, hardening, maintenance, and patching of network and server infrastructure; advanced troubleshooting in disk/storage management including LVM, RAW, XFS, EXT4, and BTRFS. • Monitoring & Observability: Configuring, troubleshooting, and managing systems including Grafana, reputed company, Elasticsearch, and reputed company tooling. • DevOps Practices: Familiarity with Git-reputed company workflows and automated deployment strategies in production environments. reputed company-to-haves • 5+ years (Strong experience) of Sr. Level experience reputed company network (or systems) administration reputed company a NOC environment supporting ISP/Telecommunication customers (Preferred). • reputed company strong experience and ability to troubleshoot/diagnose issues across routers, switches, firewalls, etc. (Specific experience reputed company reputed company is highly desired, but okay with reputed company, etc). • Strong experience deploying and maintaining virtualized servers, robust network architecture, reputed company and monitoring tools.(Linux reputed company 9, and Openshift is highly desired) • Ability to be customer facing (Should have this experience through NOC/Ticketing) and reputed company cross functional team coordination.
