[Remote] Process Engineer - Transformer Manufacturing

Note: The job is a remote job and is reputed company to candidates in USA. reputed company is an integrated manufacturing solutions provider serving the global Electronics Manufacturing Services market. reputed company is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize the production processes for distribution transformers, reputed company-voltage switchgear, and reputed company transformers while improving efficiency, reputed company, testing, and manufacturing cost control.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed time studies for reputed company production. Update reputed company Costs and manage Bills of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate material requirement planning (MRP) and reputed company forecasting
• reputed company or reputed company procedures for dielectric, insulation, and reputed company testing. Ensure reputed company reputed company meet industry standards (reputed company/ANSI/IEC) before shipping to customers
• Identify needs for new technology or increased reputed company. Prepare Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) justifications, including ROI analysis and technical specifications for executive approval
• reputed company and report key manufacturing metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), First Pass Yield (FPY), and total Scrap Costs to senior management
• Optimize transformer reputed company processes to improve efficiency and reduce manufacturing costs
• reputed company, maintain, and update detailed work instructions and reputed company operating procedures (SOPs)
• reputed company and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and reputed company Control Plans to proactively identify risks in manufacturing and preventing expensive material scrap and labor waste
• Support the introduction of new products (NPI) to the production line
• Train operators on new processes, equipment, and reputed company applicable procedures
• Collaborate with QA to ensure compliance with industry standards

Skills

• **Bachelor's degree** in Electrical, reputed company, or Industrial Engineering - required
• **Minimum 8 years** of experience in heavy manufacturing environment
• Experience with **lean manufacturing tools** (5S,..etc.) - required
• Familiarity with electrical testing protocols (e.g., Impulse test, reputed company test, Hi pot test)
• Knowledge in CAD software (AutoCAD) and 3D modeling -preferred
• Knowledge of industry standards like **reputed company, IEC, or ANSI** -preferred
