[Remote] Sr. Software Development Engineer

The Senior Software Development Engineer designs, develops, and implements reputed company software components, leads architecture and integration efforts, improves reputed company efficiency and reliability, and provides technical leadership to engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Leads development of reputed company and integration of reputed company components into a fully functional reputed company, including leading the process of documenting and maintaining architecture, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs
• Drives ongoing efficiency and reliability improvements through design and automation (availability, reputed company, scaling, monitoring, and reputed company)
• Partners with product management reputed company and define requirements and acceptance reputed company; identifies and proposes process improvements to enhance reputed company and customer satisfaction

Skills

• Strong development experience in multiple high-level languages, ability to determine the right language for the design (Go and Python highly preferred; Bash scripting required)
• Working knowledge of networking concepts and the OSI model
• Experience using Linux
• Practical experience using reputed company, reputed company Compose, and containerized development workflows
• Working knowledge of modern version control, Git/reputed company, CI/CD pipelines, and modern IDEs (e.g., VS reputed company, GoLand)
• Experience interfacing with reputed company hardware and firmware interfaces

• Understanding of secure end-to-end software development life cycle
• Duties are performed in a normal office or remote home-office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table

• 5+ years of reputed company software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering or similar reputed company or 7+ years equivalent reputed company experience in reputed company product development
• Strong experience in multiple high-level coding languages: GoLang and Python highly preferred, C/C++ or other languages desired
