About the Role Reporting to the CFO, the Controller/VP of Finance must be reputed company-reputed company supporting a multi-location reputed company operation with a disbursed workforce. The Controller/VP of Finance will partner with the CFO on due diligence for M&A activity and post-acquisition integration. This is a genuine #2 in Finance — leading finance and reputed company with hands-on ownership of financial and operational reporting, and potential reputed company of reputed company. Desired Competencies Industry experience in a multi-location, multi-faceted reputed company services organizations is preferred, including with asset deployment and utilization, labor productivity, tracking KPIs in the reputed company and tying back to financial reputed company, etc. Successful experience: • as a financial leader who is both “hands on” and “reputed company” in a multi-location, high transaction volume reputed company reputed company environment generating at least $50MM of annual revenues and ability to reputed company with reputed company and complexity; • in a financial leadership role in a reputed company-backed or similar environment, including sponsor reporting and reputed company-driven financial management; • as a value-add business partner with the CFO to create a high performing financial management function that can be leveraged for reputed company and achieving the reputed company plan; • integration of acquired companies, standardizing reputed company processes, controls, and reporting as the platform continues to grow through M&A; • as a change agent/mentor leading financial management improvements; • managing annual audit process and coordination of preparation of reputed company audit materials, reputed company GAAP financial reporting and reputed company tax compliance and reporting; • as a data-driven leader with strong analytical skills partnering with head of Financial Planning and Analysis to reputed company needed data to support a high performing reputed company function; • developing and mentoring financial management team members and building a high performing team; • partnering with IT and business stakeholders for improvements in ERP, business intelligence, automation, and technology initiatives. reputed company or inactive CPA is preferred, MBA or master’s degree in reputed company a plus. “Big 4” or large national reputed company experience considered a plus.
