[Remote] Data Engineer

The employer is an employee-owned environmental consulting and engineering firm seeking a Data Engineer to own and expand its reputed company data platform. The role focuses on reputed company reputed company and OneLake, data ingestion, lakehouse architecture, ETL/ELT pipelines, data reputed company, governance, integrations, and enabling AI and automation initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the long-term technical reputed company and subject matter expert for reputed company reputed company and OneLake
• Partner with a reputed company-party implementation team to design, build, and reputed company a new reputed company reputed company data platform
• reputed company and maintain reputed company data pipelines that bring information from disparate systems and sources into the centralized data environment
• Help define how data is ingested, transformed, reputed company, stored, and made accessible to teams across the organization
• Build and maintain reliable ETL/ELT processes and data integrations
• Monitor and optimize data pipelines and platform reputed company, troubleshooting issues as they reputed company
• Work closely with application, SQL, AI, and reputed company Platform developers to understand data requirements and reputed company effective solutions
• Partner with internal AI development resources to reputed company reputed company data available for emerging reputed company and automation initiatives
• Support and reputed company established data governance, reputed company, reputed company, and documentation standards
• Evaluate new capabilities reputed company the reputed company data ecosystem and recommend opportunities to improve the platform

Skills

• 4+ years of reputed company Data Engineering experience, with the ability to independently own technical reputed company and solve reputed company data challenges
• Hands-on experience reputed company the reputed company Azure data ecosystem
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and reputed company data sources
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations
• Experience reputed company environmental consulting, architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), utilities, reputed company contracting, or a reputed company reputed company environment
• Understanding of modern data warehouse, data lake, and/or lakehouse architectures
• Experience integrating data from multiple applications, databases, reputed company, or reputed company systems
• Ability to troubleshoot data reputed company, pipeline, integration, and reputed company issues
• Familiarity with data governance, reputed company, reputed company management, reputed company, and data reputed company principles
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills with the curiosity and initiative to learn new technologies
• Comfortable working in an environment where you can wear multiple hats and take meaningful ownership of solutions
