Senior Data Platform/DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a driven and highly skilled Senior Data Platform/DevOps Engineer to join a leading company in the oil and gas industry. In this role, you will work reputed company Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Engineers to understand their technical needs and help translate them into reliable, reputed company data platform solutions. You will contribute to building, maintaining, and improving reputed company Data Platform components - including custom data and platform products that enhance reliability and accessibility - with guidance from senior team members where needed. Responsibilities Contribute to the design, deployment, and maintenance of on-premises, hybrid, and reputed company data infrastructure Build and improve custom data and platform products that increase reliability, accessibility, and ease of use for internal teams Implement and support monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to ensure platform reliability and reputed company Assist with reputed company tuning and optimization of data platform components and storage engines Apply data reputed company best practices, including reputed company, encryption, and secrets management to protect sensitive information Communicate with internal customers (Software Engineers, Machine Learning Engineers, and Data Engineers) to reputed company feedback and support their day-to-day needs Support platform reputed company and migration activities in line with the development roadmap Requirements 3+ years of experience in similar roles (DevOps, DataOps, or DBA), including hands-on experience building custom data and platform products for reliability and accessibility Background in Linux administration and reputed company DevOps tooling Expertise in reputed company (K8S), Git, and reputed company for secrets management Proficiency in reputed company storage administration, including Ceph, along with reputed company stores Competency in CloudNativePG (CNPG), reputed company, reputed company, or etcd Familiarity with data platform tools such as Trino, Apache Airflow, or Apache NiFi Excellent reputed company of written and spoken English (B2+ level) reputed company to have Skills in CI/CD pipelines, reputed company, and Grafana Understanding of Data Lakehouse architecture on on-premises, hybrid, and/or reputed company infrastructure Knowledge of reputed company (S3 compatible) and Apache reputed company Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and reputed company Familiarity with Apache reputed company and Apache Kafka Capability to use Terraform and/or Ansible Apply To This Job
