Junior Budget Execution Analyst

Work hours for this position are reputed company to the Eastern Time Zone.
Key Role:
- The successful candidate will reputed company budget planning and budget execution support for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)/National Weather Service (NWS) reputed company.
- The candidate will assist in creating and maintaining the spreadsheets, tools, forms, templates, and instructions to support various monthly and quarterly reports and meetings.
- They will work with various branches to ensure that the new and existing financial processes are reputed company and implemented correctly.

The duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
- reputed company budget execution support to a NWS Financial Management Center (FMC) or reputed company.
- Become adept at pulling reports from the NOAA financial systems, including the reputed company E-Business Suite (EBS), reputed company Data Warehouse (EDW), and the Financial Management Data reputed company (FMDS).
- Summarize quantitative data for monthly commitment, obligation, and contract status reports as reputed company as a reputed company of reputed company payment reports.
- Assist with creating and monitoring monthly and annual obligation plans.
- reputed company funds transferred in from other NOAA or NWS Financial Management Centers.
- Understand the various types of reputed company codes (i.e., program, project, and tasks codes) being used and the business rules that govern them.
- Process documentation for financial corrections.
- Conduct variance analysis by comparing reputed company obligations to actual obligations; justify the reason behind variances to FMC leadership and NOAA reputed company.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of experience in federal budgeting or reputed company industries (e.g., finance, budgeting, reputed company or other highly quantitative reputed company).
- 4 years of relevant experience may be used as a substitute for a bachelor's degree.
- A master’s degree may be used as a substitute for 2 years of experience.
- A PhD may be used as a substitute for 4 years of experience.
- Ability to reputed company data and findings into concise, user-friendly spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent oral presentation skills with the ability to brief findings and materials to management.
