Part-Time Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) - Virtual Learning

Description We are seeking a passionate and experienced remote Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) to join our team and support students with visual impairments in a virtual learning environment. In this role, you’ll work with students in a school district in Virginia, helping them achieve academic success and reach their full potential... Responsibilities • Provide specialized instruction to students with visual impairments in a remote setting. • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to meet the individual needs of each student. • Adapt and modify learning materials to ensure accessibility. • Monitor and assess student progress, making adjustments to instruction as necessary. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field. • Valid Virginia teaching license with an endorsement in Teaching the Visually Impaired. • Minimum of two years of experience working in a school setting. • Strong communication and organizational skills. Position Details • PreK-12 student caseload. • Part-time, 16 hours per week. • Competitive compensation for both direct instruction and indirect hours. • 1099 contract position offering flexibility.
