This role is ideal for a compliance professional with a strong background in BSA/AML, transaction monitoring, and risk management related to FCB and NBFI accounts. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university OR certification from ACAMS/FIBA or equivalent industry experience. • Minimum 5 years of banking experience, with a strong focus on BSA/AML compliance. • Proven ability to oversee internal controls, risk assessment, and reporting in FCB and NBFI operations. • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to detect and assess patterns of suspicious financial activity. • Proficiency in data manipulation and database management. • Experience writing detailed investigative reports following compliance protocols. • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and familiarity with banking compliance platforms. • Bilingual English/Spanish (verbal and written) required. • Periodic international travel to Latin America to support compliance operations and regulatory oversight. Description: • Oversee and administer internal controls and reporting within the BSA Department, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. • Analyze Foreign Correspondent Banking (FCB) accounts, sub-accounts, and NBFI activity to identify patterns of unusual or suspicious transactions. • Conduct manual periodic reviews and assess system-generated alerts from transaction monitoring systems. • Prepare comprehensive investigative reports, articulating observations clearly while adhering to BSA Department policies. • Maintain, document, and index all analysis information in the department’s internal database. • Utilize data analytics and pattern recognition to detect suspicious financial activity. • Work with key compliance systems, including LexisNexis, ChexSystems, ECS, Bankway, and OFAC.
