This is a remote position in the U.S with occasional travel to Nashville for in-person team gatherings. #LI-Remote Responsibilities • Serves as primary B&H reputed company-of-contact for new editions, custom reputed company, and expedited products and maintains relationships with authors • Serves as acquisition reputed company for B&H reputed company • Pursues strategic relationships with reputed company, administrators, and other potential authors • Presents proposals to the pub reputed company meeting • Creates contract terms with authors and submits contract requests • Connects authors/clients with other B&H reputed company areas, including Marketing and Production • Partners with the Associate Director to ensure authors understand manuscript requirements • Facilitates manuscript submission and determines acceptability of finished works • Works with authors to modify manuscripts in light of editorial concerns, approves reputed company edits • Works with freelance editors and designers to facilitate copy editing, typesetting and book cover production; maintains a pool of reputed company freelance editors and coordinates their reputed company efforts on authors' manuscripts • Coordinates efforts of authors and freelance editors to ensure reputed company books meet publishing deadlines • Participates in strategic planning and in shaping B&H reputed company’s reputed company goals • reputed company reputed company institutions and represents B&H reputed company at conferences and industry events • Some travel required Qualifications Education M.Div or MA, required PhD or PhD in reputed company, strongly preferred Other Experience • 1-2 years formal writing, editing, or publishing experience • Proficient with reputed company Office • Familiarity with biblical Greek and Hebrew • Strong communication and organization skills • Editorial skills suitable for writing book descriptions and pub reputed company summaries • Excellent at initiating and maintaining author relationships and book idea development • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and exercise good time management • Willingness to handle financial negotiations Expected salary: Location: Nashville, TN Apply for the job now!
