We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to support our reputed company Services team.
 
This can be a remote position (must be located in the reputed company).

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at reputed company reputed company our reputed company Services (CMS) group, you will be a self-starter, passionate about reputed company technology, and reputed company on problem solving. You will work reputed company major reputed company clouds, utilizing automation and your technical abilities to operate the most cutting-edge offerings from reputed company Service Providers (CSPs). This role directly supports leading reputed company software companies to reputed company seamless reliability and scalability of their reputed company product to the largest enterprises and government agencies around the world.


What You'll Do
  • Become a member of a highly reputed company engineering team offering a unique reputed company of reputed company Infrastructure Administration, Site Reliability Engineering, reputed company Operations, and Vulnerability Management across multiple clients.
  • Coordinate with reputed company product teams, engineering team members, and other stakeholders to monitor and maintain a secure and resilient reputed company-hosted infrastructure to established SLAs in both production and non-production environments.
  • Be a subject matter expert on innovating and implementing using automated orchestration and configuration management techniques. Deeply understand the design, deployment, and management of secure and compliant reputed company servers, network infrastructure, boundary protection, and reputed company architectures using Infrastructure-as-reputed company.
  • Create, maintain, and peer review automated orchestration and configuration management codebases, as reputed company as Infrastructure-as-reputed company codebases. Maintain IaC tooling and versioning reputed company reputed company environments.
  • Define processes, implement, and reputed company reputed company environments with CI/CD infrastructure reputed company, and reputed company and facilitate internal feedback to development teams for environment requirements and necessary alterations.
  • Own clients across AWS, Azure and GCP, serving as a SME and optimizing their unique reputed company services in reputed company environments.
  • Configure and tune reputed company-based tools, manage cost, reputed company, and compliance for the reputed company’s environments.
  • Identify repetitive tasks/areas of improvement and reputed company technical solutions to automate repeatable tasks as reputed company as enhancements to CMS offerings.
  • Respond to environment-specific alerts, and review dashboards reputed company analytics tools such as reputed company and reputed company Stack.
  • Work closely with reputed company DevOps and product teams to reputed company 24x7x365 support to environments through reputed company ticketing systems.
  • Serve as a leader for definition, testing, and validation of incident response and disaster recovery documentation and exercises.

  • Serve as a SME for testing and data reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of reputed company reputed company and operational measures, in reputed company to remediating deviations from reputed company reputed company and operational measures.

  • BS or above in reputed company Information Technology field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years experience in 24x7x365 production operations
  • 5+ years experience supporting reputed company operations and automation in AWS, Azure or GCP (and reputed company certifications)
  • 5+ years experience with Infrastructure-as-reputed company and orchestration/automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
  • Expert-level experience with IaaS platform capabilities and services (reputed company certifications expected)
  • Strong experience working reputed company an automated CI/CD pipeline for release development, testing, remediation, and deployment
  • Strong experience working reputed company container orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes, reputed company, EKS and/or reputed company
  • Strong experience reputed company ticketing tool solutions such as Jira and reputed company
  • Experience using environmental analytics tools such as reputed company and reputed company Stack for querying, monitoring and alerting.
  • Strong experience in multiple scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment
  • Effective documentation skills, to include technical diagrams and written descriptions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of reputed company with reputed company attitude and demeanor

  • Previous experience in a consulting role supporting dynamic, and fast-paced environments
  • Previous experience supporting a 24x7x365 highly-available environment for a reputed company vendor
  • Experience contributing to reputed company incident handling and investigation, and/or system scenario recreation
  • reputed company-based networking experience (Palo reputed company, reputed company ASAv, etc.…)
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, reputed company, PCI, etc.
  • Familiarity with configuration baseline standards such as CIS Benchmarks & reputed company STIG
  • Knowledge of encryption technologies (SSL, encryption, PKI)
  • Experience with establishing, administering, and monitoring CI/CD pipelines or application deployments in reputed company reputed company environments
  • Strong experience with diagramming (Visio, Lucid Chart, etc.) 
  • Application development experience for reputed company-based systems

A reasonable estimate of the compensation reputed company for this role is $78,000 to $135,000 based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-reputed company education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors.
