CDL B Driver

In this role, you will serve our customers safely and on time. Pay: $25 - $30 ? Transport finished goods and raw materials ? Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures ? Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions ? Collect and verify delivery instructions ? Report defects, accidents or violations ? Unloading and stocking building material as needed ? Checks clearances so that buildings, wires and the vehicle will not be damaged during operation. ? Maintains logs of delivery duties, mileage and locations of deliveries; check items against invoice or bill of lading. ? Obeying all regulatory agency and company safety directives Skills ? Proven work experience as a CDL B Driver ? Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations ? No recent moving or driving violations ? Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) ? Valid truck driving license ? Knowledge of safety procedures while performing driving and materials handling tasks ? Excellent customer service skills ? Good verbal and written communication skills ? Ability to read and understand maps, routes, road signs ? Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out route assignment ? Clean Motor Vehicle Record Schedule: ? Monday to Friday 5:30 am to 1:30 pm ?
