About the position The Forklift Driver position in Jesup, Georgia involves operating industrial forklifts to manage the movement of materials within a warehouse or factory setting. The role is essential for ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and inventory management of products, contributing to the overall productivity of the production operations. Responsibilities ? Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials. , ? Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipments. , ? Relocate items within the warehouse or factory. , ? Operate a forklift, winch, or other machinery used for transporting or shipping materials. , ? Drive industrial forklift truck to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials. , ? Move levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement of lifting apparatus. , ? Position forks, lifting platform, or other lifting device under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, boxes, products, or materials and transport load to designated area. , ? Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device. , ? Inventory materials on work floor, and supply workers with materials as needed. , ? Keep record of inventory. Requirements ?
