Position Overview:We are looking for an empathetic and highly organized Student & Family Enrollment Advisor to guide parents and students through a thoughtful intake process that blends conversation, insight, and program recommendations — all grounded in our mission of supporting executive function, learning strategies, and student wellness.
This full-cycle consultative enrollment role blends thoughtful needs assessment, relationship-building, and service advising with a light pre-sales flair. You’re not a ‘sales rep’ — you’re a trusted advisor who listens deeply, diagnoses challenges, and communicates how Illuminos can help. Think: part school counselor, part solution strategist, part onboarding matchmaker.
This remote, part-time role (10–15 hours per week, including day and evening availability) plays a critical role in ensuring each student is thoughtfully matched with a coach who can support their individual goals. Be a critical first impression for families taking their first step toward transformational support. If you have a background in counseling, special education, and experience working with students from 3rd grade through college, and you enjoy building trust by connecting authentically with both parents and students, this is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct new family consultation calls with parents to assess student needs and provide service recommendations.
• Administer and interpret intake extended interviews/evaluations and summarize key findings via Zoom.
• Support an emotionally safe, high-trust enrollment experience.
• Serve as the main point of contact for families from initial inquiry through enrollment.
• Collaborate with the Client and Coach Success team to establish meaningful coach matches.
• Provide insight and documentation to support smooth onboarding for coaches.
• Maintain clear records and follow-ups in alignment with company systems and practices.
• Help ensure a thoughtful, personalized experience for every family.
• Track and follow up on client consultation calls, ensuring all intake and enrollment tasks are completed.
Qualifications:
• Background in therapy, counseling, education, or school psychology (required).
• Must have experience working with students with ADHD, OCD, Autism, Anxiety, Depression, Perfectionism, and other similar diagnoses.
• Experience working with multiple ages (3rd-grade through college students) preferred.
• Strong communication skills — confident, kind, and insightful.
• Ability to “read the room,” connect quickly, and simplify complex program details into real-life solutions.
• Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and remain highly organized.
• Comfortable working remotely and independently, with availability for day and evening hours.
• Genuine interest in student success and family support services.
• Strong communication skills, ability to listen closely and analyze quickly, excellent oral communication skills, ability to learn information, and explain to others.
• Parental experience or deep understanding of family dynamics, a plus.
