As a Plant Engineering Master Electrician you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

• Work with Plant Engineering Supervisor, Plant Engineering Engineer, and Division Engineering to ensure compliance on all electrical work.
• Coordinate work with electrical contractors.
• Proactively pursue equipment and PM optimization.
• Train crew on all new or modified equipment. Work shifts as required to satisfy this role.
• Maintain an effective and positive relationship with co-workers and management.
• Work overtime or shifts as required.
• Maintain plant lighting systems.
• Maintain and organization of plant electrical distribution systems and substations.
• Assist in other electrical maintenance and construction as required by the Plant Engineering Supervisor.
• Must maintain a master electrical license and ensure the site complies.
• Train other craftsmen as assigned in compliance with the electrical journeyman process.
• Maintain accurate, organized documentation on all equipment in area.
• Assist in training of new hires in Plant Engineering
• Assist in the installation and checkout of new or modified equipment.
• Additional accountabilities as assigned by Plant Engineering Supervisor.

Your Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Possess high school diploma/GED or higher (completed prior to start)
• Possess a current and valid, Master Electrician License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Industrial or commercial electrical work experience
