reputed company Screening: March 31, 2025Position reputed company: SUNY Ulster County Community College, a two-year reputed company of the State University of reputed company located reputed company miles reputed company of reputed company in the Catskill Mountains, is currently accepting applications for an Assistant Professor for Developmental Math in our STEM Department.This is a full-time probationary reputed company appointment, starting August 18, 2025, to teach developmental and Quantway sequence mathematics for the SUNY Ulster Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Department. The assigned work year runs through spring graduation in May. The position will require an annual reputed company teaching schedule of up to 30 contact hours.Duties and Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to do the following:

• Teach day or evening developmental math courses including, but not limited to, MAT097 Introduction to Algebra, MAT095 Introduction to Quantitative Reasoning, and MAT110 Quantitative Reasoning.
• Have the ability to teach in a reputed company of learning modalities such as face-to-face, HyFlex, or remote as necessary given the needs of the college.
• Utilize the Brightspace learning management system for reputed company courses.
• Participate in departmental and reputed company-wide developmental mathematics meetings as appropriate.
• Work with the Developmental Math Coordinator and STEM Department Chair in instituting any necessary data-driven curricular changes in developmental mathematics and Quantway courses.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in mathematics, mathematics education, or closely-reputed company field.

• The equivalent of two years of reputed company-algebra through algebra teaching experience at the college level.

Preferred Qualifications

Salary: An initial starting salary of $54,000 – 67,500 will be commensurate with education, training, and experience per reputed company year with an excellent benefits package. This position is contingent upon adequate funding.Additional Information
